Responsibilities

· Collaborate in the design process with a UI/UX engineer to produce specifications for implementation of user interfaces

· Help establish and manage a build pipeline for the application interfaces providing Kurense’s products and services

· Write well designed, testable, efficient, maintainable and secure code using best practices

· Collaborate with colleagues to influence and evolve the software development life cycle process in favor of rapid development, security, and quality as our products, services and business changes

· Create and maintain technical documentation useful to developers, business analysts, and quality assurance staff for maintenance and support

· Stay abreast of current developments in the web and financial technology areas relevant to the business

Requirements

· Proven work experience developing and maintaining secure and business critical web applications

· Familiarity with cloud hosting provider services and using them to host, deploy, and monitor web and mobile applications; AWS preferred

· In depth knowledge of Javascript and relevant frameworks for front-end development: React.js, Angular.js

· Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android

· Experienced problem diagnosis and creative solution skills

· BS/BA in computer science or relevant field; alternatively, equivalent experience where you can demonstrate knowledge and experience applying solid computer science principles to real-world implementations within the scope of front-end development

· Knowledge and experience to implement best-practices when integrating interfaces with business or data layers (i.e. APIs)

Beneficial Skills

· Comfortable in a self-driven non-corporate environment; willing to adapt as the business grows and team composition changes

· Familiarity with security concerns as relates to front end development (OWASP, PCI, SOC2, etc)

· DevOps experience

· Knowledge of the financial/payroll industry

· Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda

· Familiarity with Gitlab (CI/CI pipelines)

· Experience with publishing process for Apple and Google Play app stores

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62,298.05 - $140,000.00 per year
